MegaVoice Audio Bibles Reach Unengaged in Northern Mozambique
In the remote regions of Northern Mozambique, a remarkable moment in ministry is unfolding. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the commitment of local leaders, 750 MegaVoice audio Bibles have been distributed among the Makhuwa Nahara-speaking communities, a people group who, until recently, had limited or no access to Scripture in their heart language.
For generations, reaching unreached people groups (UPGs) with the message of Jesus depended on the painstaking work of translation. Missionaries often had to wait until entire Bibles were translated before they could truly begin the work of discipleship. But today, technology has transformed what’s possible. Through audio Scripture, people who are illiterate or live without access to printed Bibles can now hear and understand God’s Word, often for the very first time.
This is exactly what’s happening in Mozambique. The people are beginning to study and engage deeply with Scripture, even before the full written translation is completed. One local ministry leader described it beautifully:
“The MP3 ministry is a wonderful one. It is giving us an opportunity that for many years was never available. Today, illiterate people can hear Scripture before having to read it.”

Each MegaVoice player is solar-powered and preloaded with Scripture and discipleship content tailored for these communities. In places where literacy is low and access to resources is scarce, these devices are proving to be life-changing tools for spiritual growth and church planting.
The excitement is real, and the need is ongoing. Our partners are now preparing to record more Scripture and distribute additional players to reach even more villages in the region. They are committed to keeping supporters updated with testimonies of transformation and stories of how God’s Word is taking root in the lives of people who have never heard the name of Jesus before.

This is more than a distribution. It is a movement of hope, faith, and transformation. Thank you for standing with us as we work to bring the Gospel to the ends of the earth, one audio Bible at a time.
