Bringing God's Word to the Hearts of Zimbabwe
Across Zimbabwe, many rural churches are faithfully serving their communities with little access to Scripture resources. In partnership with New Life Journey, MegaVoice International is helping change this reality by placing audio Bibles into the hands of students, pastors, and church leaders who are committed to discipleship and church planting across the nation.
New Life Journey exists to partner with local churches to develop effective disciples through missions, mentorship, and exposure programs. Their vision spans all ten provinces of Zimbabwe, where more than 300 training centers are working to equip the next generation of leaders. With languages including Shona, Ndebele, and Tonga spoken across these regions, accessible Scripture resources are essential for effective ministry.
Between October 2025 and January 2026, outreach efforts took place in Gokwe and Binga, reaching 40 churches across these remote areas. Through the use of Teach Every Nation materials, provincial leaders, district leaders, and deans are guiding structured discipleship efforts that are already bearing fruit. During these distributions, 45 MegaVoice audio Bibles were shared in Tonga, Ndebele, and Shona, ensuring that listeners could engage with God’s Word in the language they understand best.
In Binga District, 120 pastors and church leaders gathered to receive audio Bibles along with encouragement and leadership support. Each of the 40 churches represented received an audio Bible, strengthening their ability to teach, disciple, and reach their surrounding communities where printed materials are often scarce or unavailable.
The day the Word reached him...
One powerful moment from the outreach involved a 75-year-old man who is partially blind. His joy upon receiving an audio Bible was deeply moving, serving as a reminder that access to God’s Word should never be limited by age, literacy, or physical ability. Pastors shared how these devices will support their personal study, sermon preparation, and outreach efforts, allowing Scripture to be shared widely in homes, churches, and villages.
The work in Zimbabwe is far from finished. Students trained through New Life Journey are committed to reaching every province with the message of hope, and the demand for audio Bibles continues to grow as more churches recognize their impact. Together, MegaVoice and New Life Journey are helping ensure that God’s Word is heard, understood, and passed on in communities that have waited far too long for access.
